Living in the shadows of a drill site (S-T video)

With hundreds of natural gas wells popping up in the region, some residents find living in the shadows of a drill site to be a "pain in the butt." Star-Telegram staff Bill Teeter has the sights and sounds in this video.

That's a little better. Still, you need to video the rig when it's belching black smoke and the lights at night. Too bad the stench of tar and diesel won't come through on the internet. We all have emission regulations for our vehicle engines. Drilling rig engines should also be regulated. Maybe if residents raised enough hell that would change.
