FWCanDo, Fort Worth Citizens Against Neighborhood Drilling Ordinance, is opening its art show at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center.
The show, which sought entries depicting the impact of urban drilling, will run Dec. 8-29. The gala opening reception is 6 p.m.-8 p.m. this Saturday Dec. 8 at the arts center, 1300 Gendy St. in the Fort Worth Cultural District.
The gala will include a 7 p.m. "performance ritual lament" by Sound Culture/Tammy Gomez. Award winning entries will be announced at 7:15 p.m.
Here's a picture of one of the pieces on display. By Jennifer Danson, it's entitled "A very long, slow goodbye," clay, oil and water.

Where can I as well get a copy? I am so absolutely excited.
I cannot wait till the exhibit opens, and I am just busting a gut to view the performance of "performance ritual lament".
Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God.
I will be waiting in line the day before just to make sure I can get into the exhibit. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God.

It does not take much to impress you does it Sharon?
My daughter did better projects in first grade than this.
And my taxes are paying for this?
Why don't we tax you Sharon in Wise County for this crap if it is so grand.
