I have mineral rights to a property on Ponderosa Dr in South Hurst and have heard Nothing from any of the companies involved, Dale Resources, Purple Land Mgmt and Cheakspeak. My lease expired in 2009. I also have a mineral lease in Morrisdale Estates in South West Euless..they have claimed a Forced Majure on that lease, which has been expired for over a year and 6 months. Force Majure is "an act of God or other uncontrolable circumstances" which is not reason for any lease to be forcably extended. Cheaspeak Energy is taking advantage of the Mineral Right holders and of the County. Get rid of their Tax Exemptions and see how they like doing business with the residents then..I believe this will end in a Class Action Suit if they do not adhear to the rules of law. We have written them letters and sent them emails to which we have recieved no response. We have called and been told they will call us back, but do not return the calls. This is no way to do business. When you rent and change something concerning a lease of any rental property, you must give notice,30 days before the lease expires not 3 months to a year after it expires. This company is not doing its Due diligence. They think we are uneducated Texans that dont have a clue..I expect and demand more respect than they are giving this county and the lease holders. Does anyone know the effects this drilling will have on our health? It seems as though everyone is so concerned with getting paid. What about the exposure to all these chemiclas they are pumping into the ground. What is this doing to our enviornment and our children? Why isn't this ever brought up? Has anyone seen Gasland?

Does anyone know what has happened with Mesa Petroleum? I live in the west part of south Hurst and we signed contracts almost 2 years ago and have heard nothing about them or from them since.
