Update on this post: According to some MSU-area property owners, these are the confidential terms that Mansfield South got in its negotiations with XTO, not just what the association was asking for. Here's the full post from earlier:
Details are leaking out on the apparent deal between XTO Energy and Mansfield South United. According to some recent e-mail traffic, here's what Mansfield South was asking for:
$23,000-per-acre bonus for an initial three-year term, and a two-year option at $17,000 per acre- 25 percent royalty
- Pooling of 640 acres +10 percent
- $10,000 donation to each HOA
- Terms to be confidential
- XTO coordinates with Mansfield South in securing times and locations for signing leases and exchanging bonus checks
In return, Mansfield South will:
- Notify the property owners
- Fully endorse and promote the deal
- Coordinate with XTO
The 5-page letter was apparently sent to XTO on March 25.

Totally confused here. My wife and I purcahsed a home in Walnut Creek Valley in January as our future home. We have since leased it temporarily to another member at Walnut Creek, but anyway the short of it is if I am on the 4th fairway of the Pecan course am I in Mansfield South United or the Debbie Lane Pool and where do I get information on leas signing for MSU as they appear to have no website?
