A follow-up to Sunday's story about the influx of high-impact drilling sites in Tarrant County.
One of the sites under consideration is between Bryant-Irvin Road and Westridge Drive, between the Lake Como and Ridglea neighborhoods. To get approval from the city, drilling company Chesapeake Energy has to get permission from all the surrounding owners, or go to the City Council.
Chesapeake Energy sent a letter to residents this week offering as much as $7,500 if they sign the waivers allowing the site to be drilled. Read the letter here: 062810 Westridge Letter.
