An argument in favor of Keystone XL pipeline

While there are legitimate environmental concerns about carbon emissions from oil produced from Canadian tar sands, there are solid reasons to build the controversial Keystone XL pipeline that would ship that oil from Canada to refineries on Texas' Gulf Coast, Loren Steffy of the Houston Chronicle writes in a column.
