Railroad Commission Chairwoman Elizabeth Ames Jones resigns to seek state Senate seat

Elizabeth Ames Jones, chairwoman of the Texas Railroad Commission, has resigned from the state oil and gas regulatory body to pursue a state Senate seat long held by Jeff Wentworth, R-San Antonio.
