Range Resources is unsurprisingly happy with a judge's order that allows it to move forward with a multimillion-dollar counterclaim that the Fort Worth-based natural gas producer filed against the owner of a methane-contaminated Parker County water well . Range also sued environmental consultant Alisa Rich in the counterclaim.
"We're pleased with the decision and look forward to having a jury hear the case," Range spokesman Matt Pitzarella said in an e-mail response to the Star-Telegram. "It's our desire that the public can rest assured knowing that natural gas can be developed in harmony with the environment."
