Fort Worth-based Range Resources earned $55.7 million on $447 million in revenues for the second quarter as gains in production were offset by lower product prices. After adjustments, Range's earnings amounted to 11 cents a share, roughly double Wall Street's average estimate of 5 cents. Production averaged 719 million cubic feet equivalent a day, up 51 percent from a year earlier, with an average realized sales price of $4.74 per 1,000 cubic feet, down 26 percent from a year ago.
