Purple Land Management, formed in Fort Worth in 2010, says it opened a Denver office to handle leasing, right-of-way and related consulting for energy companies and other clients in the Rocky Mountains region. That region includes the Bakken and Niobrara shales, and the Powder River and Uninta basins in Colorado, Utah, North Dakota, Wyoming and Montana. The company also has offices in Ohio and Pennsylvania as well as in downtown Fort Worth. Bryan Cortney and Jesse Hejny, both TCU alums (surprise!) are the founders. The company also works with public entities.
