Flower Mound police have recommended that a 16-year-old motorist be charged with delinquent conduct//manslaughter in the Aug. 22 death of a skateboarder. Kyle Darroca, 15, was killed while attempting to do skateboarding tricks in the parking lot of Garden Ridge Elementary School in Flower Mound. Darroca was holding on to the side of a vehicle being driven by the teen when he fell and was run over.

I don't think it is right to charge the 16 year old with manslaughter. This was obviously a very horrible accident. The boy has been punished enough by this accident that took the life of his friend.

You know how police departments are. They always want to charge someone, instead of using "COMMON SENSE". Most police departments have alot of "BARNEY FIFES" on the forces.

I don't know about Barney's on police forces but your right about one thing. Kids are kids and he will already live with this the rest of his life. Even the parents of the boy that was killed don't want him charged.
Some of the stuff we did as kids could easily have lead to serious injury or death. There but for the grace of God........
