Deadly home invasion still under investigation

Fort Worth police are continuing to investigate a deadly home invasion Sunday morning. One man was killed and two people were injured when a pair of gun-toting men kicked in the door of a Fort Worth home and opened fire. Read Staff Writer Alex Branch's report.

This is the crime that drives people to have guns and big dogs. It's the nightmare of a Polly Klass type crime where a monster enters a home, fully aware that people are there and snatch our children from their beds!
This type of crime needs to be quashed as fast as we can. It needs to have the highest priority with the PD and the harshest punishment we can deliver.
That said, most of these turn out to be a case where the crooks know the victims, and drugs and cash are known to be in the house.
Even if thats the case, the same rules need to apply. Justice is supposed to be blind.
