Carrollton police say in an arrest warrant affidavit that they have a surveillance video showing a man wanted in connection with the slaying of UNT student Melanie Goodwin, dragging a body from a car and setting a fire at a business park where the 19-year-old student's burned body was discovered Tuesday morning.
Ernesto Reyes, left, is still the subject of a manhunt in the case.
The Dallas County medical examiner's office says Goodwin died of multiple blunt-force trauma injuries.

This is one of the saddest and sickest things I have heard in ages. I hope they find this dirt bag quick and give him the chair... although that would be too kind to him.

My heart goes out to these parents. I am so appalled. This girl was helping a fellow citizen, (thought she was) and was murdered. It is so sad that we live in a society where you cannot help anyone anymore for fear of being raped, robbed or murdered. Sorry to say, I will not help a stranger and have told my kids the same. Call 911 and leave the scene. NOt worth it, but it is what life has come to.
