A 22-year-old mother who works as a waitress at a Phoenix area Hooters restaurant 
has been booked into Maricopa County jail and faces a felony negligent homicide charge after her 1-year-old son was found dead, locked inside her hot car at the restaurant's parking lot.
Police say the woman, Ashly Duchene, right, usually drops the boy off at a day-care center on her way to work, but failed to do so on Tuesday. Temperatures in Phoenix hit nearly 90 degrees Tuesday.

this BS blog is just part of the giving-in to the new police state that demeans and criminalizes the individual in this post-911 fear-mongering age, opportunisticly attempting to entrap the individual into a life of servitude to the state. this blog helps dumb down americans thinking to this state of mind. and this newspaper knows it

I'm not surprised, mark, that you throw around such conspiracy theorist words as "police state" and "fear-mongering". The criminal, by perpetrating a criminal act, has little recourse (due to his/her selfish actions) but to live a life of servitude to the citizens that they harmed. People like yourself complain about people suppressing your freedom of speech, yet you complain about websites such as this one, which allow people to speak their minds.
