Some milestones are worth noting and Crime Time has reached a big one.
The blog surpassed 1 million lifetime views at 5 p.m. today and we owe it all to you. We appreciate all of you who have made Crime Time a part of your daily online reading since our first day on July 31. We've published 967 postings on the blog since that day and you've replied with 669 comments. We've tried to bring you the most interesting and relevant news about crime from Tarrant County, the nation and from around the world. The blog has reported on breaking news, major crimes, trends in law enforcement and crime prevention.
A lot of reporters and editors have contributed to Crime Time over the the past months and their contributions are appreciated, too.
We invite you to use the comments section of this posting to let us know what you think we've done well, how we can do better, and what you'd like to see in the future.
The first million has come quickly. Now we're on to the second.

Congrats. It's a shame that you have to have this kind of blog. Too many people think that violence is the means to an end for anything and everything. At any rate, I appreciate this blog and I usually am able to read it daily.
