DNA tests confirm man fathered 6 kids with imprisoned daughter

sCNN is reporting that DNA tests have confirmed that a 73-year-old Austrian man fathered six children with the now 42-year-old daughter he is accused of imprisoning for 24 years in a basement.

Josef Fritzl appeared in court Tuesday after having confessed that he raped his daughter and fathered seven children with her. The seventh child died as an infant and Fritzl said he burned the body in an incinerator.

Fritzl, a retired electrical engineer, faces a possible 15 years in prison if charged and convicted of rape.

Authorities also are saying the the daughter and her mother were reunited on Sunday, along with most of the daughter's children. Officials called the meeting "astonishing."

Astonishing! seems 15yrs is not enough time for rape and imprisonment Considering 24yrs of his daughter's life has been taking away from her. Besides the incest and rape. Then the imprisonment of his grandchildren. He needs to be locked away for good.

This guy is a disgusting monster. I'm not a prude and I can even accept the concept of incest between consenting adults. But to forcibly detain your own daughter as a sex slave for 24 years, have seven children by her, and repeatedly rape her from the time she was eleven years old is beyond comprehension. They should lock this creep up and throw away the key.

This Fritzl is sub-human. I can't even call Fritzl a him or a person or man or any word that describes a human. It's hard enough to use the word Father when talking about...Fritzl. I am absolutely astonished by this story. I cannot believe anyone(human) could do something like that to their own child or hell to any other human being for that matter! Keep them imprisoned as a sex slave for 24 years in a windowless basement. OMG! How can someone do something like this??? What is to become of the offspring of this (so called) man and his daughter? If they are inbread from a Father and a Daughter wouldn't they have wierd medical things wrong with them? I've always heard that inbread people especially that close in relation would be born with wierd defects. This is such a tragedy for the daughter and the children that had to endure the tortures of that.....Fritzl..thing or whatever he's called. I think he's a waist of oxygen. He need's to rot in prison for the rest of his days on earth.
