There's nothing better than a good love story particularly when it involves a naked pilot, a flight attendant, and a shed in the woods.
Those are all ingredients of a case out of Harrisburg, Pa., where a male airline pilot and a female flight attendant were arrested during a nighttime rendezvous in the woods that, shall we say, didn't end as expected.
The pair had left a diner on the outskirts of Harrisburg and ventured into the woods, police said. Neighbors reported to police that they had seen a naked man in the woods.
"They told the officer they wanted to go do it in the woods, essentially," Sgt. Richard Brandt of the Lower Swatara Township Police said. "That's the best answer they had."
The 24-year-old pilot was arrested wearing nothing but flip-flops and a wristwatch. He is charged with indecent exposure and public drunkenness among other things, police said. He was found with the help of a helicopter equipped with heat-seeking equipment.
Among the charges police say she faces are theft from a motor vehicle (police say she took a flashlight from a vehicle) and public drunkenness.

This is a fun story, but I found a blog run by a police union in San Jose, CA, that's been very vocal about the subject of public intoxication. They've got a serious situation out there with vocal activists and the press attacking the cops for overpolicing.
Check out this interesting opinion piece that appeared not long ago:
