Anytime you mention cheerleaders and indictments in the same sentence, it's got to be interesting, right?
Well, seven former Morton Ranch High School cheerleaders have been indicted by a Harris County grand jury on charges of illegally hazing other cheerleaders.
The DA's spokesman says the misdemeanor charges allege that the girls "engaged in reckless conduct that endangered the mental and physical health and safety" of several junior varsity cheerleaders by restraining them, blindfolding them, binding their hands and pushing them into a swimming pool.
Well that's nothing to cheer about!
You can read the Houston Chronicle's report here.

"Well that's nothing to cheer about!"
Well this is certainly a WHALE of a story!
Thanks for the infantile play on words. Seriously, thank you.

Bullies like this should be in jail/prison to get a taste of their own medicine.
I also suggest the victim sue these bullies and their family for whatever they can get. Bullies are raised by ignorant parents.

What? No lead weights or concrete boots? Our younger generation is getting soft. C'mon girls, man up.

It's not surprising they got charged, but that they got charged with hazing. Somebody could have been seriously hurt.

This required a grand jury? Guess they have nothing better to do in North Texas.
