New testimony Thursday in the capital murder trial reveals that "Baby Graces" mother, Kimberly Dawn Trenor wrote that she couldn't live without her daughter, Riley Ann Sawyers.
Trenor is accused, along with her husband, of beating Riley, 2, to death as part of a daylong session of punishment.
According to testimony, an analyst discover the phrase, "My heart is black, dead. I can't live without Riley," on a page in a notebook.
Riley was called "Baby Grace" by authorities trying to determine the identity of the tiny girl found dead inside a plastic bin that had washed ashore on Galveston Bay.
