Police: Murderous dad lures son home, shoots him

Police in Virginia say that a father lured his college-student son back to the family home and then shot him before fatally shooting himself.

The man already had fatally shot his wife and elder son, police said.

The wounded son was able to escape and make it a neighbor's home.

"He said, 'Daddy lied to me,' and that he lured him back home," neighbor Deborah Akers told the Roanoke Times.

Police said they recovered a rifle from the burned home and have not determined a motive.

I guess that people get bored and they got to do something to while away the time. It is a crying shame that many cannot find it in themselves to just hurt themselves and leave other alone. As usual, what spurred this attack? Why did the father become murderous? There are two many unanswered questions in this story.

Wow ,he should have just killed himself.But this world is really going to Hell.I am so glad I have wonderful family and friends and I know they will always be there for me.I have been through some bad times but their love gave me the strength to go on.
