You may recall the case of the Missouri woman who was convicted in a California federal court for her role in a MySpace hoax against a 13-year-old neighbor girl who later took her own life.
Well, on Thursday a federal judge said he's going to throw those misdemeanor convictions out because if he allowed them, then anyone who ever violated the MySpace terms of service would be guilty of a misdemeanor.

I agree with Jake--she should go to hell. But so should the administrators at MySpace for NOT enforcing their own user agreement. I think a few of the harassing abusive jerks on MySpace SHOULD go to jail. I have had over a dozen libelous fake profiles made of me and my family by a stalker this past year and Myspace says they "can't" do anything to block her--even though they know who she is and what her IP address/URL is. People who lie about their identity and act respectfully aren't the issue. It are the thousands using MySpace to harass and defame others--and their are NO laws to protect any of us. Soemthing ahas GOT to give on this or more will die and suffer. GO FACEBOOK! BOO MYSPACE!
