It may have been an "attempted assassination" but still the intended crime was intended to take place. Had Miss Fromme succeeded, former President Ford now deceased, would have been gone a long time ago. 34 years have come and gone but the crime is still in the books. Because she has been good while in prison, does not by any means, mean that she is ready to return to society. Then again does this mean that she will repay everything that was spent on her while she was incarcerated. Or is this another case of the taxpayer being taken for a ride into further debt? Where is the justice?
