Boom! Exploding candy box injures woman

An exploding candy box has injured a Houston woman, the Associated Press reported.

The explosion happened Friday at the 56-year-old woman's house when she opened a candy box that he had received weeks ago.  The explosion sprayed the woman with nails and tacks, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said.

The BATF said they don't know the motive for the attack, but that the woman was the target.

She's recovering at home after surgery to repair her injured left hand, the AP reported.
