In a plea deal that will send her to a mental hospital rather than prison, a 33-year-old San Antonio was found not guilty by reason of insanity for killing and dismembering her newborn child.
Otty Sanchez's plea was accepted by the court on Thursday.
Scott Wesley Buchholz-Sanchez was just 3 weeks old when he was killed.
His aunt called 911 after she arrived home to find the baby dead and Sanchez wailing that the devil had made her kill the child. Sanchez can be heard on the 911 tape yelling, "I didn't mean to do it! He told me to!" the Associated Press reported.

Ok, so this is what I am to understand from this news: All I have to do to get away with murder is dismember my victim, and claim that the "Devil" told me to do it. I assure you, I guarantee you that this person -will- get out of this institution someday, and this person -will- hurt or kill someone else. This legal system has been damaged beyond all repair, just like every other one of our governmental systems... damaged by human stupidity.

Ryan, don't be judgmental. You are a man who does not go through pregnancy, the emotions, or even post pardom depression. I do not even know this woman, but I do know that mental illness does exist. This incident IS very tragic, and that is coming from a woman who has lost four children and still does not have any. Yet I am able to understand how something so tragic can happen, because I know about mental illness. Please don't be so quick to judge, you're not a juror in the case.
