The Dallas Morning News reported this morning that a man fled the scene after an overnight crash that seriously injured a 5-year-old girl, who was ejected from his vehicle and left on the side of the road.
Three other kids were in the car and at least one of them was injured in the crash, the Morning News reported.
Police said the crash occurred about 10:45 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove area of southeast Dallas when the vehicle struck a utility pole. He then drove the SUV to a nearby park, where he left two of the children but ran off the an infant who was later found safe with a relative, the paper reported.
The injured 5-year-old girl was taken to Children's Medical Center Dallas, the Morning News reported.
