New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson said Friday that he will not pardon the infamous gunslinger and killer Billy the Kid, the Associated Press reported.
Richards said there was too much ambuiguity in the historical record about a reported pardon promised Willaim Bonney, aka Billy the Kid, 130 years ago by then Gov. Lew Wallace, the AP reported.

This is the only thing Bill Richardson has done right in his whole time in office.

I thought Bill the Kid died just West of Fort Worth and is buried there. I guess he got around on his horse more then anyone knows. Will Perry pardon him?

Incredible that a State government in such hard economic times, with illegal aliens spilling over our border has found time to waste on such a frivolous matter.
But then, who better to waste on the deliberation than a commie idiot like Bill Richardson.
