Police: Bookkeeper stole $2.1 million from her church

Police in Visalia, Calif., say that a church bookkeeper may have dipped into the collection plate over the past 13 years for a cool $2.1 million, the Associated Press reported.

Sandra Arreola, of Palm Desert, is accused of using the purloined cash on properties, clothing and vacation and she is being held on $1 million bail, the AP reported.
