Ashtray and cigarette lighters have become almost extinct as standard features in cars and trucks made over the past decade, although many dealers offer optional “smoker’s packages.”
It’s unclear whether an ashtray was equipped in the 2002 Jeep Liberty of a Grapevine woman pulled over by Fort Worth police on Tuesday morning, but our guess is she might be thinking about getting one now.
