Authorities searching through the wreckage of a small plane crash at a New Mexico lake didn't find any survivors or bodies but were able to make a discovery of a different kind.
The Associated Press reports that New Mexico State Police divers searching Heron Lake in Chama, New Mexico after failing to find the aircraft Sunday found several packages of cocaine floating in the water.
The small plane reportedly crashed into the lake Sunday morning and since the search began, officers have found several packages of the drug weighing in about a kilogram, or just a little more than 2 pounds.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash.

For the record, "Divers" don't look for "Survivors."

No surprise here; New Mexico is the most crime tolerant and felon friendly state in the US.

Too bad, so sad. Drug dealers make the best fish food! That may be the one thing they are good for.
