The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking to the public to help crack a baffling code that might solve a 1999 murder in Missouri.
The Associated Press reports that the FBI has been investigating the death of 41-year-old Ricky McCormick, whose body had been dumped in a cornfield near Highway 367. Agents believed he was murdered but the case has remained unsolved.
A pair of notes containing codes were found in the man's shirt pocket. Officials said McCormick had spent much of life experimenting with codes and ciphers.
It seems that the cryptic message has stumped even the experts the FBI's Cryptanalysis and Racketeering Records Unit.
You can look at the two notes here.
The FBI has also set up a website for anyone who wishes to submit their answers.

Have you asked the NSA for help? They're rather good at cryptanalysis.
