A 21-year-old guy in Boulder, Colo., got intoxicated at a restaurant there recently and returned to his crib to ... sleep it off, right?
Wrong. He loaded up his gun for some late-night, early-morning target practice.
A witness told police he helped Michael Lee get back to the house where he was staying July 21 because Lee was "very intoxicated," according to a report on the Daily Camera website. Lee insisted on showing off his guns, the witness said.
Whereupon he pulled out a revolver and assembled a foam deer he got from his roommate's bedroom. He set up the deer in the house and took shots at it from the yard with the revolver and a shotgun, the witness said.
The witness left and reported the incident to police.
Lee was arrested on suspicion of illegal discharge of a firearm and use of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol, and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, according to the report.
Some things need no elaboration.
