The first charges have been filed against a TCU football player in connection with a four-month drug sting that resulted in more than 20 arrests.
Devin Johnson, 21, of Fort Worth was charged Monday with three cases of delivery of marijuana, more than a quarter-pound ounce but less than five pounds, the Tarrant County district attorney's office said.
The charge is a state jail felony, punishable by 180 days to two years in jail and up to a $10,000 fine.
Johnson was a defensive back for the Horned Frogs.
Nine people have been charged so far.
