Socialite Ann Bass, who was once married to Sid Bass, took the stand in New Haven, Conn., on Tuesday and described a terrifying nighttime invasion of her Connecticut home: "I heard these war cries, very terrifying sounds, and saw three men wearing black hoods, black clothes, completely covered, storming up the steps."
Bass testified at the trial of her former butler, who is accused of terrorizing and trying to extort millions from her.
Bass, 69, is a former wife of billionaire Sid Bass, eldest of the four Bass brothers of Fort Worth.
She also maintains homes in New York and Westover Hills.
