Great now we the tax payers get to pay for a total of 116.6 years at 40,000 each a year! Thats 4.6 "MILLION" tax dollars, "NOT" counting what the trials cost and what it will cost to take care of their families!!!

Yet nobody has told the truth, that being these "dealers" were replaced before these that got caught were in jail, FACT!!!

When do we break the never ending cycle of feeding the "people ranching" business in Texas?

Could it possibly be our laws are wrong? Could it possibly be those with self serving bigoted agendas have manipulated “ drugs “ in to employment, political gains and fund raising opportunities? Such as politicians getting reelected, lawyers, judges, da’s, probation officers, police officers, bail bondsmen, jails, prisons, rehabilitation centers, u. a. testing, etc.. Drugs are truly a money maker for “ BOTH “ the supposed bad guys and those that feed their families off the misery of others! Sadly “ both “ sides of this war are sacrificing with their lives, AND FOR WHAT???

Answer this question for me, please:

How is it we keep hearing of these ”largest drug bust ever” if we have been on the right path for the last 40+ years, should not the number and size of these bust being going down, “not “ up story after story and year after year?

“ If “ we have been on the right path with the longest war our country has ever been in ( sadly one against our own sons and daughters) for the last 40+ years while spending over a “ Trillion “ tax dollars and putting more people per capita behind bars than any other country on earth.
Would not logic, facts, reality and common sense dictate that “ if “ we are winning this war the need for more resources, funding, prisons, jails, probation, courts as well as the harm being done to our citizens, should all be going down “ NOT “ up year after year?

If logic, facts, reality and common sense can “ NOT “ be used to support and justify this known failure called the war on drugs, why should we be forced to sacrifice our nations sons and daughters to it???

There Has To Be A Better Way, help us find it.

Where is my comment, or is this just ""YOUR"" way of keeping the ""TRUTH"" from the public????

Well Rusty has a point. Before these guys were even tried there were pushers taking their place. My son in law is a heroin addict. He gets it in Haltom, and Riverside. He thought they all were gone, and entered a rehab. that lasted about a week. I think prison would cure him, but being an addict isn't a crime.

All these pushers were users. And it is true where one falls off another will takes their place. The law inforced do pat themselves on the back on how they stopped all of these evil people but there is so much more to it. I'd rather hear about a solution to the problem then the problem it self... And each case has its own story and the child are the true victims. How can we help them not follow in the paths of their parents?

These people were all friends of mine growing up...none murderers...none rapists...none bad people...just people that thought drugs and a life of crime was self glorified. It was the law looking for them and them running from the law...I think both parties are at fault. It's disgusting to me how HEB prides themselves on making these low time crimes feel like they are high glorified gangsters...it fed their egos... waste of prison space amplified by our local system.
