A Tarrant County grand jury has declined to indict a Fort Worth father accused of reckless behavior in the shooting death of his 9-year-old daughter earlier this year.
Thomas Brock Wilson was no-billed on manslaughter charges Thursday, according to the Tarrant County district attorney's office.
Wilson, 34, was arrested in July after a May 30 incident during which his gun went off as he removed it from a bag. His daughter, Anaya, was struck in the chest.
Wilson wrote on his Facebook page after the shooting that words could not describe his grief:
"Due to an ignorant accident my beautiful daughter Anaya is with our Lord. I can't even put into words how devastated I am and really cannot imagine what my wife is going through. I love her and our 3 Boys more than life itself."
