Body of Coppell athlete, missing since Sunday, finally found at Possum Kingdom Lake

Authorites have found the body of a high school football star who had been missing since Sunday at Possum Kingdom Lake.

Jacob Logan, 17, a wide receiver for Coppell High School, was found at 9:21 p.m. Thursday in water below the cliff where he was last seen diving on Sunday, said Judi Pierce, spokeswoman for the Brazos River Authority.

No other details were immediately available late Thursday.

It  had been a difficult search. Murky waters hindered the effort, which was rejoined by a deep-water dive team on Thursday.

The Cowboys will honor Logan at Friday's game against Flower Mound.
