Girl, 15, found slain in Rockwall

Police in the Dallas suburb of Rockwall are investigating the death of a 15-year-old girl as a homicide after she was found dead in her home with stab wounds after staying home sick from school.

An autopsy has been ordered on the body of Surie Baeza.

Police Sgt. Jeff Welch said Wednesday that she was last seen alive early Tuesday morning when her mother allowed her to stay home from school because she didn't feel well.
