Anthony "Toro" Levandoski, 28, (shown here) was arrested without incident at a Grand Prairie business, according to a news release.
Levandoski is accused of shooting Jaime Perez Ramos, whose body was found Jan. 5, 2011, inside a house in the 1500 block of Biggs Circle. The neighborhood is on Arlington’s east side, southeast of the intersection of South Collins Street and East Pioneer Parkway.
Ramos had been staying at the home with his girlfriend, said Tiara Ellis Richard, Arlington police spokeswoman.
They had argued three days before his body was found, and Ramos reportedly fired a gun, but no one was hurt, Richard said
"Afterward, the girlfriend left the house to go to the home of another man, who was an ex-boyfriend," Richard said. "Levandoski, the suspect in custody, is a friend of the ex-boyfriend and is believed to have shot Mr. Ramos in retaliation."
Levandoski remained in the Arlington City Jail on Friday. He faces a murder charge, and bail was $1 million, according to jail records.
