Here are the latest significant crimes reported overnight by Fort Worth police.
Aggravated assault
On Thursday Oct. 25 around 11:55 p.m. officers responded to the 5000 block of East Berry Street for reports of shots fired. Officers learned that a 22-year-old man was shot in the hand. He was taken to a local hospital and treated for his non life-threatening injuries. There are no known suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
Robberies
On Thursday Oct. 25 around 8:45 p.m. officers responded to a robbery call on Oakland Hills Drive. Officers met with a 43-year-old woman who said that three unknown men forced their way into her apartment and stole several items while holding her at gunpoint. She wasn't hurt and the suspects fled in a dark colored car. No arrests were made and robbery detectives are continuing the investigation.
On Friday, Oct. 26 around 12:30 a.m. officers went to Legato Lane in regards to a robbery call. Officers met with a 23-year-old female who said that she was unloading her car in the driveway when an unknown man grabbed her purse from her arm. She resisted but sustained minor injuries. She was transported to a local hospital and was treated for her non life-threatening injuries. Officers searched for the suspect but were unable to locate him. Robbery detectives are continuing the investigation.
