A woman who was critically burned in a 2010 Bedford house fire has been indicted on charges that she actually started the blaze that almost killed her elderly parents, who had to use walkers to escape.
Ronna Faris (shown here) told police that the fire was set by an ex-girlfriend.
But investigators now believe she doused herself with gasoline and set herself and the home ablaze. She was burned on over 60 percent of her body.
Faris, who has been recovering from the burns was arrested Monday.
"It was a very complicated case," said Bedford police Sgt. Jerry Buford.
