A Dallas police lieutenant, whose officer husband was killed in the line of duty, has been put on administrative leave after doing a rap song.
In the song, Lt. Regina Smith threatens to shoot anyone who messes with her, according to The Associated Press.
The Big Rush In LLC website includes a photo of the late husband of Lt. Smith, also known as "Lucille Baller." Sr. Cpl. Norman Smith, dubbed the "Big Russian," was fatally shot in 2009 while serving a warrant. (The couple is shown here.)
WFAA-TV reports a video on the website showed Regina Smith pulling a gun. Assistant Chief Randy Blankenbaker says the matter is under review.
Smith didn't immediately comment Wednesday.
Charles Payne was convicted of killing Norman Smith and received life in prison, the AP reported.
