Here are the overnight briefs reported by the Fort Worth Police Department.
3000 block of Horne Street:
On Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 around 10:45 p.m. officers responded to a robbery call at the Holiday Market grocery store. Officers met with the business owner who said that two men entered the business, one of them displayed a weapon, and they demanded money. The suspects fled without taking anything. They are still outstanding and no injuries were reported.
8400 block of Calmont Avenue:
On Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 just before 9 p.m. officers responded to a robbery call at the Emerald Hills apartments and met with a 24-year-old woman who told police that earlier in the day she was waiting at a bus stop when a man asked her a question. She turned and was pushed to the ground. The suspect took personal items. He was described as a white male, around 6-feet tall and weighing around 170 pounds. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and old shoes. The woman was not seriously hurt.
