A fire in Keller damaged a house Saturday in the 600 block of Rufe Snow Drive but no injuries were reported.
Shane Gainer with the Keller Fire Department said firefighters were dispatched about 3 p.m.
Gainer said the fire appeared to have started in the kitchen area.
“It appears to be accidental,” Gainer said.
Gainer said nobody was home at the time of the fire except for the family dogs.
“To my knowledge, they all got out safely,” he said.
Fire, smoke and water caused significant damage to the house; residents are staying with relatives, Gainer said.
Keller firefighters were assisted by agencies from Colleyville, North Richland Hills, Southlake, Westlake and Watauga.
