Here's a round up of overnight incidents reported by Fort Worth police.
6800 block of Bay Line Drive: On Monday, Nov. 26,around 9:15 p.m. officers responded to an assault call at the Cumberland Apartments and met with a 42-year-old man who told police that a tow truck driver was towing his vehicle for violating the complex’ parking policy. The victim went to approach the driver, a brief exchange of words occurred, and the victim told police that the driver attempted to drive over him. There were no injuries and no arrests made. This investigation is still pending.
1200 block of Oakland Blvd: On Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 around 11:50 a.m. officers responded to a Circle K gas station on a robbery call and met with an employee who told police that a man wearing a mask asked for money from him and a female customer who was inside the store. The suspect made gestures and simulated that he had a weapon. The employee was unable to give into the suspect’s demands and the suspect left without taking anything. No injuries were reported and the woman was not on scene when police arrived.
3100 block of S. University Drive: On Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 around 9:15 p.m. a theft of grocery items took place at Kroger. Officers were told that during the theft, when two suspects fled the store, a 43-year-old man tried to stop the suspects and was injured during the immediate flight of the suspects. The injuries were non life-threatening and no arrests were made.
