Here are some overnight briefs noted by the Fort Worth Police Department. No arrests were reported in any of them.
Robbery for a business
8651 John T White: (Metro PCS) on Sunday Nov. 11, at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers responded to a robbery call. The victim who is an employee said that two men entered the store and approached the cash register area. One of the them brandished a gun and demanded the money from the register. The victim complied with the man’s orders and placed an unknown amount of cash in a bag. After getting the cash, the man grabbed a box and ordered the victim to put cell phones in it, the victim placed several new cell phones in the box. The men then fled the store. No injuries were reported.
Robbery of a person
1400 Circle Park Blvd: on Sunday Nov. 11, at approximately 9:54 p.m., officers responded to a robbery. The victim was located unconscious in the middle of the street by a citizen who immediately dialed 911. The victim said that he was walking down the street when three men approached him. One man hit him on the head with a rock causing him to go to the ground and become disoriented. The victim tried to fight back but he was overtaken by the men. One of them reached in the victim’s pocket and pulled his wallet. The men then ran away from the location leaving the victim behind. The victim was transported to the hospital.
6000 Westridge Lane: on Sunday Nov. 11, at 6:32 p.m. officers responded to a robbery call. The victim said he was walking back to his apartment after a buying a Coke from the vending machine located at the end of the apartment building, when two men approached him and brandished a gun. The men demanded the victim’s money. the victim pulled his pockets inside out and told them that he did not have any cash. The victim ran away from the men and they ran after him. They caught up with him and at that point one of the men punched him on the face. Then the two men ran west from the apartment complex. The victim went back to his apartment and dialed 911.
