Internal investigation of Hurst cop could wrap up this week, assistant chief says

A police officer won’t face criminal charges in an incident in which he was videotaped cursing at a teenager during an arrest in a city park, authorities said last week.

Officer Disraeli Arnold remains on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation, Assistant Police Chief Steve Niekamp said Friday evening.

But, he added, the internal investigation is looking at possible violations of “our general orders manual which, basically, is our policies.” That investigation could wrap up by the end of next week, Niekamp said.

Police are above the law.
This poor kid is still having to go to court for resisting?
Drop the case, put arnold in jail. The system has failed. The DA does nothing with video evidence. And still pushes a case against a 17 year old kid being bullied on by the police.
