Here's an overnight brief reported by the Fort Worth Police Department.
Robbery of a Business
4620 E. Lancaster Ave: On Dec. 17, 2012 at approximately 9 p.m. officers were summoned to this location in reference to a robbery. Officers arrived on the scene and interviewed one of the victims.
The restaurant owner stated that she and her husband were inside the business working when she saw two men armed with handguns walk in; both suspects had their faces covered with red bandanas.
One of the men placed the barrel of the gun against the victim’s forehead, ordered her to get on the floor and demanded the money from the cash register. The victim reached up and opened the cash register and the suspect immediately grabbed the money.
Both men fled the scene with the stolen cash.
There were no reported injuries and no arrests made. The Robbery Unit is assigned this case for follow-up investigation.
