Here's an overnight brief that was released today (Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012) by Fort Worth Police.
ROBBERY -- 3800 block of Maurice Ave:
"On Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 around 12:17 a.m., officers were summoned to a gas station on Maurice Avenue. When officers arrived on the scene they spoke with the victim who is a store employee.
"He told officers that he was returning from taking the trash out when he noticed the suspect standing by the front window by the coke machines.
"The victim stated he went back into the business and noticed that the suspect was gone but moments later he looked outside and the suspect pushed him back into the business and told him to open the register.
"The suspect said he had a gun. The suspect fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money."
