Child, 2, safe after thief steals family's SUV in Fort Worth

Here's a happy ending to a crime story.

Two-year-old Ricardo Calderon (shown here with his aunt, Jocelyn Lara) was returned to his family safely Thursday afternoon after a thief put him out of his mother's car a few blocks from where it was stolen in the Fairmount neighborhood.

Officers found the child and brought him back to his family. The thief was still on the loose Thursday evening.

"We're feeling better right now," said 11-year-old brother Ruben, "and thanking God that he helped us get back our little baby brother."
