A man was shot to death early Thursday evening on the east side of Arlington, police said.
The man’s name was not immediately available, but he appeared to be in his 20s, said Tiara Ellis Richard, police spokeswoman, in a news release.
Police were called at about 5 p.m. to a home in the 300 block of Roberts Circle, a neighborhood southwest of the intersection of East Abram Street and Texas 360.
The original 911 call indicated that there had been a cutting, Richard said.
"As officers were on the way to the scene, additional calls were received notifying officers that shots had been fired at the residence," Richard said. "When officers arrived, they found one man in his 20s deceased outside a home from an apparent gunshot wounds."
A second victim, possibly related to the original cutting call, was also found at the home. He was taken to the hospital, but "the extent of his injuries is unknown at this time," Richard said.
Police were still talking to "multiple witnesses" at the scene Thursday night, Richard said, but no other information was available at 9 p.m.
